義大犀牛昨在澄清湖球場面對上半季冠軍Lamigo桃猿，雙方形成打擊混戰，雖然義大靠著9局下猿隊3次失誤逼入延長賽，但猿隊郭嚴文單場5安，並在10局上擊出致勝安打，終場猿隊就以12比11險勝，落敗的義大與第三名的獅隊勝差只剩1.5場。
猿隊郭嚴文創下生涯新高單場5安，連續26場敲安、29場上壘，只差5場就能追平由林易增所保持的單季31場連續安打紀錄。
義大10局上由高國輝擊出2分彈，本季含保留比賽已有19轟出現，確定打破2009由陳金鋒所保持的半季本土球員最多轟紀錄，林益全單場雙響炮成空響。
此外，義大副領隊葉君璋昨也到場觀戰，未來將負責選秀與球隊未來戰績重任，葉君璋表示：「今天才剛到球隊，還要再觀察，目前投手和守備相對較弱，需要做調整。」
他認為，義大調度方面要做修正，例如上半季年輕球員用的比較多，有修正空間，也需給洋投時間，例如希克剛來表現不好，但還是要給他一點時間調整狀況，不能用一、兩場比賽就否定。
義大上半季未能奪冠，已將總教練馮喬許下放二軍，由投手教練羅博特暫代總教練，外傳葉君璋很有可能是未來總教練人選，他昨首度回應，「總教練的事，我強調，做什麼職務對球隊好，就在什麼位置，這也要和上面溝通討論，不排斥任何想法。」
