鄭捷去年犯下隨機殺人案，釀成4死22傷的慘劇，一審被依殺人等罪判處死刑，檢、辯雙方提起上訴，高等法院22日上午開庭審理，生還者史艾芙琳泣訴自己快要發瘋、生不如死，哭求法官「若不判鄭捷死，請判我死」。
高院上午開庭，原本「一心求死」的鄭捷透過委任律師主張，當時犯案年僅21歲，幾乎沒有社會經驗，應有教化可能，「若可取得心理治療與適當協助，並非沒有改變動機」，請求另外委任專家補充鑑定心理狀態，合議庭尚未裁定。
但有多名被害者及其家屬在庭上回憶悲痛過往，受傷而生還的史艾芙琳崩潰泣訴，自己難忘鄭捷當時凶狠模樣，至今仍過得很痛苦、生不如死，「若不判鄭捷死，請判我死」。
死者張正翰母親則說，鄭捷不顧他人生命，從來不覺得自己做錯事，「我的孩子被殺了，殺人的人卻不用死，我不甘願！」希望法官為他們主持正義，判處鄭捷死刑並速審速決。
